Setup Instructions for Mac OS 8 & 9-DHCP (High-Speed)

The MAC OS has a simplified DHCP configuration. However, if you have any questions or problems please call 970-949-3318 or write support@vail.net.

1.) Go to the Apple menu, then select the Control Panel.

2.) In the Control Panel, click Tcp/Ip.

3.) To configure DHCP, select the option "Using DHCP Server" under "Connect via".

*When you select "Using DHCP Server," ipaddress, subnet, router address, and name server addr automatically default to "supplied by server".

4.) Close the window and Save the changes. You now have a high-speed connection!
