Satcom Services is an Internet-based satellite services and products marketing company.

Client Problem
As an Internet-based company, Satcom had two concerns: speed and reliability. The success of the company was based upon Satcom being able to transmit large amounts of data quickly and efficiently, anytime day or night. In this situation, a dial-up connection was obviously out of the question. As a start-up business, Satcom didn't have the resources or time to install a T1 connection. A fast, cost-effective solution was quickly needed.

VailNet's Solution
After looking at several options, VailNet installed a wireless T1 connection for Satcom. They had a strong signal at the location and it was easy and quick to install.

The Results
Satcom has received exactly what it needed a reliable Internet connection with high-speed data transmission. The following letter from the president of Satcom Resources explains:

Last year, when I launched my Internet based business, there was no doubt where I would get my bandwidth. I am most impressed with the RF link that we put in at my house. The reliability has been incredible, as well as the speed, and it has transformed my attitudes towards working out of the house. With your high-speed radio link, there is virtually no difference between the bandwidth that I am used to at my home vs. at my office. The unit has been up for approximately nine months now, and I can only think of the box having a problem once. As I have come to expect, your team identified the network was down before I did. This was well worth the money.

You seem to have a developed a great culture at VailNet, and nothing reflects that more than the attitude of your friendly and outgoing staff. I appreciate all you help and your overwhelming willingness to help with any problems I may have, and I look forward to continued great service. I will not be moving my network anytime soon.
