T1/Frame Access

VailNet/ColoradoNet offers T1 (1.544 Mb/second) high-speed dedicated leased line services. For those business customers who wish to connect their local area network (LAN) directly to the Internet 24 hours a day, Leased line service customers are provided with a dedicated high speed link to the Internet-- enough bandwidth for the entire office. This is also a great solution for those businesses that wish to house and maintain their own web server.

T1 Leased Lines / T1 Frame Relay Services:

Two types of T1 leased line services are currently offered by VailNet. Both require that the customer own their own "router" and "CSU/DSU" hardware (high speed T1 'modem hardware') at their office location. T1 routers and CSU/DSU's have a list price of between $1200 and $2500 depending on models and options. VailNet can provide a list of suggested hardware on request.

*In both cases, customer is responsible for provisioning of leased line between customer location and VailNet and/or Frame-Relay cloud. VailNet can supply a telephone company contact who can assist with this pricing. Recurring costs on Frame-Relay T1's from Qwest tend to run around $360/month.
