Wireless T1

VailNet/ColoradoNet is pleased to offer T1 (1.544 Mb/second) high-speed wireless access. For those home or business customers seeking super-fast dedicated connectivity to the Internet for one or more computers,

Wireless customers are provided with a dedicated high-speed link to the Internet through which their entire home or office can gain high speed access to the net. All computers on a customer's local area network (LAN) share a full 1.544 megabit wireless link and have internet access without the need for individual modems and phone lines per computer.

Wireless service requires that the customer's location be line-of-sight to one of VailNet/ColoradoNet's wireless antennas. Wireless connectivity works by placing a small antenna on the roof of a customers building and running the antenna through a coax cable into the customers office. The router provides the customer with a standard 10baseT ethernet connection which can be plugged into the LAN.

As of October 24, 2003, VailNet/ColoradoNet has active sites in Eagle, Edwards/Singletree, Avon, Eagle-Vail, Vail, Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon (including parts of Summit Cove), and Breckenridge.
